My fiancee and I live on a horse farm and love being country folks.
My Grandfather taught me about Cherokee ways as I was growing up. Hunting, fishing, tracking and general survival in the woods were things we shared together. He taught me some of the language and to revere our Mother. I miss him very much, he was my hero.
I have worked for some interesting Indian projects over the years, doing websites in the early days of the internet for the Great Lakes Indian Fish and Wildlife Commission (GLIFWC) and working for Great Lakes Indian Regional American Indian Network (GLRAIN)
Also I am a proud member of The Native American Journalists Association (NAJA). Hopefully I'll be teaching journalism this summer to local kids at the Community College nearby. I am working on a book and a few articles right now as well. Of course stories dealing with Indigenous People are my primary focus but any stories which involve healing or gaining wisdom can grab my heart and interest at any time.
I look forward to meeting folks and pow wowing this summer.
Wado brothers and sisters!
